“IDF’s ‘Shayetet 13’ Unit Conducts High-Risk Hostage Rescue Operation Amid Escalating Tensions Near Gaza”

Today the Israel’s Defense Forces (IDF) shared headcam footage of their elite unit showcasing the rescue of over 250 hostages near to the Gaza security fence area. During the operation by the IDF’s “Shayetet 13” unit at the Sufa outpost, 60 Hamas terrorists were reportedly killed.

Among the 26 apprehended individuals was Muhammad Abu A’ali, the Deputy Commander of the Hamas southern Naval Division. The video depicted Israeli soldiers entering a building and engaging in gunfire, with one soldier firing from a secure location and another throwing a grenade at the outpost.

“Soldiers are searching for a place and one of them says, ‘Go ahead, turn on the lights and Make sure it’s clear.’ There was an instance where a captured individual from an underground hideout was pushed against a wall, and a soldier was heard instructing to hold a gun to the person and kill him.

The troops proceeded to enter a bunker to rescue all hostages, providing necessary first aid to those in need. The footage also showed soldiers carrying a stretcher to evacuate injured hostages.

The military operation by IDF was conducted soon after Hamas terrorists launched a deadly attack on Israel and infiltrated into its territory. About 13 soldiers were airlifted to the scene to counter the threat of Hamas.
