According to the report of 14 October, the Israeli military has designated two safe routes for more than one million residents of northern Gaza to leave for the south of the blockaded territory.
The military has set a specific time window between 10:00 am and 4:00 pm (1300 GMT) for the residents to leave using the designated roads down the Gaza coast and through the center of the territory.
Thousands of people, including those using buses, cars, and donkey carts, have been leaving the northern zone to escape the potential conflict zone.
There have been calls from various international bodies, including the United Nations, United States, and European Union, for Israel to delay its offensive to allow civilians more time to leave the area.

The Israeli military has stated that its focus will be on Gaza City, as it is believed to be the base for the Hamas leadership responsible for the recent attacks in Israel.
