In a grand ceremony held at Vigyan Bhawan in New Delhi, President Droupadi Murmu presented the prestigious 69th National Film Awards on October 17, 2023. The awards, whose winners were announced earlier in August, celebrated the outstanding contributions of talented individuals to India’s vibrant film industry.

These awards, regarded as one of the highest honors in filmmaking, acknowledge the dedication and creativity of those who enrich the nation’s cinematic landscape. The event cast a spotlight on the best of Indian cinema, showcasing remarkable talents and their exceptional works.

Among the notable winners, Allu Arjun received the Best Actor award for his outstanding performance in the film “Pushpa,” while Alia Bhatt and Kriti Sanon were jointly awarded the Best Actress title for their roles in “Gangubai Kathiawadi” and “Mimi,” respectively.

“The Nambi Effect” was honored with the Best Feature Film Award, and “The Kashmir Files” clinched the Nargis Dutt Award for Best Film on National Integration.

The event, documented through photographs and videos shared on social media, was attended by a galaxy of stars, including Alia Bhatt, Ranbir Kapoor, Allu Arjun, Kriti Sanon, and Pankaj Tripathi, among others. Best Male Playback Singer: Kaala Bhairava for “RRR”

Best Female Playback Singer: Shreya Ghoshal for “Iravin Nizhal”

Best Lyrics: Chandrabose for “Konda Polam’s Dham Dham Dham”

Best Hindi Film: “Sardar Udham”

Best Kannada Film: “Charlie 777”
