After 12 days of food arriving in Gaza, Netanyahu agreed to Biden’s appeal

There is a conflict between Israel and Hamas. Recently, an attack happened at a hospital in Gaza. Hamas says that Israel caused the deaths of 471 people in this attack. However, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu claims that the hospital explosion was caused by a rocket launched by Hamas. There are different accounts of what happened and investigations may be needed to determine the truth.

the U.S. President Joe Biden announced that Egypt has agreed to open the Rafah crossing into Gaza to let about 20 trucks carrying humanitarian aid go through.  there is a delay because the road at the crossing needs repairs so the aid shipment probably won’t get through until Friday. This aid is meant to help the people in Gaza who are in need during a difficult situation.

U.S. President visited Israel on Wednesday shortly after a big explosion happened at the Ahli Arab hospital in Gaza. This explosion made many people in Arab countries upset and they believe Israel is responsible for it. As a result there were protests in various Muslim countries like Egypt and Pakistan because of this incident. The situation is causing a lot of anger and concern in the region.

U.S. President Joe Biden visited Tel Aviv  Israel on Wednesday. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu welcomed him at the airport  and they had a meeting. During their meeting they discussed the recent hospital attack in Gaza which has been a topic of concern.

President Biden said that, based on what he saw, it seemed that the explosion at the Gaza hospital was not caused by Israeli forces  but by another group. This has led to questions about who is actually responsible for the explosion at the hospital in Gaza and an investigation may be needed to find out the truth.

the U.S. President mentioned that Israel should not stand alone, and that justice needs to be served. He also stated that humanitarian aid, like food, water, medicine, and shelter is essential for the people in Gaza. President Biden asked the Israeli Cabinet to agree to provide this life-saving aid to the civilians in Gaza. Israel has agreed to let this aid pass through Egypt to help the people in need.

President Biden wants the aid to reach regular people in Gaza, not the group called Hamas. He mentioned that Hamas sometimes puts innocent people in danger. The U.S. is giving $100 million to help people living in Gaza and the West Bank with humanitarian assistance  like food and medical supplies. This is to support those who need help in the region.

Israel’s Prime Minister, Netanyahu, has said that they will permit humanitarian aid to pass through their office to reach Egypt. This decision is made because many people in the Gaza Strip are experiencing shortages of essential things like food, water, medicine, and electricity due to the ongoing conflict. This aid is meant to help the civilians who are in need.
