Indian badminton star PV Sindhu displayed her exceptional skills to secure a place in the semifinals of the Denmark Open Super 750 tournament with a comfortable victory over Thailand’s Supanida Katethong on Friday. Sindhu, a two-time Olympic Medalist, has been facing a winless phase this season but showed glimpses of her old self in the quarterfinals.
Sindhu defeated Katethong with a score of 21-19, 21-12 in a match that lasted 47 minutes. This victory marks her second consecutive Semi-final appearance, having reached the Semi-finals at the Arctic Open Super 500 last week in Finland.
In the first game, Sindhu took an 11-8 lead with a cross-court smash, and she eventually secured the game after a comeback attempt by Katethong. Whereas in the second game she opened up a 11-9 lead after some good early exchanges. For today’s upcoming final ,Sindhu will face Spain’s three-time World Champion Carolina Marin Sindhu’s victory in the quarterfinals is a positive sign as she aims to regain her top form in International badminton.

PV Sindhu and Carolina Marlin will square off this afternoon for a spot in the finals of the Denmark Open this will be the fourth match on Court 1 of the Jyske Bank Arena, with the initial one beginning at 12:30 pm IST.
