In his 106th episode of the monthly Radio show Mann Ki Baat, Prime Minister Narendra Modi made an announcement that is set to permit India’s youth and promote youth-led development. On the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, October 31, the Nation will witness the launch of the ‘Mera Yuva Bharat’ platform ,is a independent body dedicated to the youth of the country.
‘Mera Yuva Bharat’ (MYBharat) aims to harness the potential of India’s youth in nation-building activities. This initiative will provide young individuals with opportunities to actively participate in various developmental events. Prime Minister Modi highlighted that this unique effort seeks to integrate the youth power of India in building a more developed nation.
The announcement follows the Union cabinet’s recent decision to establish a platform that focuses on developing leadership skills among youth, turning them into social innovators and community leaders. This initiative is particularly aimed at individuals aged 15 to 29, recognizing their role in driving youth-led development.
The ‘Mera Yuva Bharat’ platform signify a commitment to involve the Nation’s youth in shaping India’s future. It will provide a platform for them to engage in activities that contribute to the country’s growth and development.
Prime Minister Modi also took the opportunity to repeated the importance of ‘vocal for local,’ urging citizens to support and promote locally made products during the upcoming Diwali festival. He highlighted the progress India has made in becoming a major manufacturing center, focusing on self-reliance and economic growth.
