On Thursday, the Noida Police lodged an FIR against Elvish Yadav, a popular YouTube personality and the winner of Big Boss OTT 2, for allegedly organizing an illegal rave party involving snake venom.
The authorities took swift action after a complaint was filed by Gaurav Gupta, an officer from the People For Animals (PFA) Welfare. According to the FIR, a bottle containing 20 milliliters of snake venom was discovered, alongside nine poisonous snakes, including five cobras, a two-headed snake, a python, and a rat snake, which were allegedly smuggled.
The FIR has been registered not only against Elvish Yadav but also his five associates, namely Titunath, Jayakaran, Rahul, Ravinath, and Narayan. They are accused of creating videos that feature various snakes and of using venom during their rave parties, thereby violating wildlife sections (9, 39, 49, 50, 51) and section 120B of the Indian Penal Code.
Elvish Yadav and his partners are facing charges under the Wildlife Protection Act for their alleged involvement in distributing snake venom opioids at a party in Noida, as well as for conspiracy under the Indian Penal Code.
