Thousands of homes in the Central Okanagan are currently under a discharge alert as a result of the McDougall Creek wildfire.
The alert was provided after 10:30 p.m. Wednesday.
It covers 4,800 homes for sections of West Kelowna, the Westbank First Nation and also the Central Okanagan West Electoral Area.
