Environment Minister Tanya Plibersek states the Voice mandate has the “support of the majority” of Aboriginal as well as Torres Strait Islander individuals as well as thinks the Yes project will certainly succeed regardless of surveys revealing a decrease in assistance.

“Listening to the people who are most affected by government policies, listening to what will make a difference in their lives just makes sense – it’s a way of making sure we get value for money for government spending.”
