“United States Reveal Plans for B61-13 Nuclear Bomb: A Harmful Modern Variant”

The United States Department of Defense announces N- bomb, a Powerful weapon. 

The B61-13 is reported to be a Nuclear bomb with a maximum output of 360 kilotons, which is dreadful 24 times more powerful than the bomb dropped on Hiroshima, Japan, during World War II. Additionally, it is nearly 14 times larger than the 25-kiloton bomb that destroy  Nagasaki.

According to the United States Department of Defense, the decision to pursue the B61-13 is a response to the rapidly evolving security environment, as outlined in the 2022 Nuclear Posture Review. The objective is to enhance the country’s capabilities for strategic bidding and response to potential attacks while reassuring allies. This activity reflects a changing security landscape and growing threats from potential enemies.

The Department of Energy’s National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA) will be responsible for producing the B61-13. This collaboration between the Department of Defense and the NNSA underlines the seriousness with which this project is being undertaken.

The Assistant Secretary of Defense, John Plumb, has stated that the B61-13 represents a reasonable step to manage the challenges of a highly dynamic security environment. This highlights the view that the improvement of nuclear capabilities for global security but still before the project proceeds it need approval from the U.S. Congress and the grant of necessary funds.
