The match between India and Pakistan in the ICC Men’s World Cup showcased India’s dominance as they secured their 8th World Cup victory against their rivals. India’s captain, Rohit Sharma, played a crucial role in the chase after Pakistan managed to score only 191 runs, akin to their performance in the match against Afghanistan.
During the chase, Sharma displayed impressive batting skills, scoring 39 runs in 24 balls, and along with Virat Kohli, they swiftly scored 56 runs in just 42 balls. However, Shubman Gill contributed 16 runs in 11 balls before being dismissed by Shaheen Afridi.
Initially, Pakistan had a decent start with a score of 155/2, but they faltered in maintaining their momentum, resulting in all players being dismissed and the team reaching a total of 191 runs. Jasprit Bumrah and Kuldeep Yadav played pivotal roles in securing crucial wickets, leading to Pakistan losing five players for just 16 runs.
