“Dream of 1.4 Billion Indians: PM Modi Sets Sights on Hosting 2036 Olympics”

The IOC Session (International Olympic Committee meeting) in Mumbai was the first one in India since 1983. Many people thought it would be the starting point for India’s effort to host the Olympics for the first time in its history.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi said on Saturday stated that India is very eager to host the Olympics in 2036, and they are determined to make every possible effort to bring the games to the country. prime Minister Narendra Modi is sure that India will receive consistent support from the International Olympic Committee (IOC).

At the 141st International Olympic Committee (IOC) session held at the Nita Mukesh Ambani Culture Centre (NMACC) in Mumbai, Prime Minister Modi stated that it is the dream of India’s 1.4 billion people to host the Olympics.2029 youth Olympics.

The Prime Minister mentioned that India has shown it can successfully host global sports events. He also expressed pride in the fact that the IOC session is being held in India after 40 years, which is a matter of great pride for the country.

PM Modi expressed India’s interest in hosting the 2029 Youth Olympics, and he believes that India will receive ongoing support from the IOC (International Olympic Committee). As for “Cricket in Olympics,” this would mean adding cricket as an official sport in the Olympic Games. Currently, cricket is not a part of the Olympic program, but there have been discussions and proposals about including it in the future. If it were to be included, it would involve international cricket teams competing for Olympic medals.

The President of the Indian Olympic Association (IOA), PT Usha, has expressed her support for the government’s plan to submit a proposal to host the 2036 Olympics. This means that the IOA is in favour of India’s bid to host the Olympics in 2036, and they back the government’s efforts in this regard.

The 59-year-old former track star believes that India should bid to host the 2036 Olympics. She is confident that India will perform better and win more medals in the Paris Olympics compared to the Tokyo Olympics. With an improved performance and more medals, India could have a stronger case to host the Olympics in the future.

The Union Minister suggested that since India has successfully hosted the 1982 Asian Games and the 2010 Commonwealth Games in the past, the next logical step or goal should be to host the Summer Olympics. In other words, India’s experience in hosting these events makes it well-suited to consider hosting the larger and more prestigious Summer Olympics in the future.
