“Gaza Struggles Humanitarian Crisis due to Fuel Sieging & Essential Services”

Gaza, is facing a terrible humanitarian crisis as fuel shortages continue to worsen Hospitals, Shelters, and essential services are on the edge of collapse, and the situation is declining everyday.

According to Statement of one of the doctor refugees in Hospitals of Gaza he stated the fact that they may have to turn away patients and unplug life-saving machines due to the lack of fuel to power generators. This puts the lives of many serious patients at risk. Shelters housing tens of thousands of families are forced to switch off lights, leaving people in the dark. Bakeries, essential for providing food to the population, are shutting down due to paused on fuel.

The Israeli military has repeated that refusal to allow fuel into Gaza, citing concerns that it could be diverted by Hamas for its operational infrastructure. This siege of fuel is further deepening the crisis.

When asked if Israel would allow fuel into Gaza in exchange for hostages, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) spokesman Rear Admiral Daniel Hagari declined the possibility, stating that fuel from the UN Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA) had been “stolen by Hamas.”

UNRWA, which plays a crucial role in providing assistance to Palestinian refugees, has made an urgent appeal for fuel. They warned that if they do not receive fuel promptly, their operations in Gaza would be forced to stop.
