Hy-Tech Engineers IPO Allotment: How to Check Status After 244 Times Subscription

Hy-Tech Engineers is scheduled to finalise the basis of allotment for its mainboard initial public offering after the ₹135.73-crore issue drew bids for more than 244 times the shares available.

The offer was open from August 24 to August 27 at a price band of ₹50 to ₹53 a share. The minimum retail lot was 283 shares, requiring ₹14,999 at the upper end of the band. Trading is tentatively scheduled to begin on the BSE and NSE on September 1.

Final subscription figures

Exchange data reported at the close showed total subscription of 244.41 times. Qualified institutional buyers subscribed 255.77 times their reserved portion, non-institutional investors 402.29 times and retail investors 170.58 times. Heavy oversubscription means valid retail applications will substantially exceed the lots available, but subscription multiples do not reveal the result of an individual application.

The issue comprised a fresh component of about ₹60 crore and an offer for sale of about ₹75.73 crore. Money raised through the fresh issue goes to the company for the purposes described in the prospectus, while proceeds from the offer-for-sale portion go to the selling shareholders after applicable expenses.

How to check Hy-Tech Engineers allotment

Bigshare Services is the registrar. Once the basis of allotment is processed, applicants can use Bigshare’s official IPO-status facility and select Hy-Tech Engineers, then search using the permitted combination of PAN, application number or beneficiary details. Applicants should enter sensitive details only on the registrar’s verified domain.

Status may also be checked through the official BSE IPO application page or the NSE bid-verification facility. A UPI mandate, bank debit or unblock message can be a useful alert, but it should not replace the registrar or exchange record.

The timetable provides for refunds or release of blocked funds and the credit of allotted shares around August 31. Bank and depository messages can arrive at different times, so a short delay between allotment finalisation and an account update does not necessarily indicate an error.

What the company does

Hy-Tech Engineers designs and manufactures hydraulic fittings for industrial applications. Its portfolio includes metric, flared, flareless, O-ring face seal, conversion and customer-specific fittings. The business largely works against confirmed orders at agreed prices, an operating model intended to reduce exposure to sudden raw-material price movements.

What GMP can and cannot show

Grey market premium, or GMP, is an unofficial indication quoted outside recognised stock exchanges. It is not published or regulated by SEBI, BSE or NSE, can vary between trackers and may change sharply before listing. A positive GMP is neither an allotment result nor a guaranteed listing price.

Applicants should base decisions on the red herring prospectus, final issue price, financial disclosures and their own risk tolerance. The large subscription multiple indicates demand during the offer; it does not remove market, valuation, customer-concentration or post-listing liquidity risks.
