The 2026-27 Europa League and Conference League league-phase draws produced a dense series of cross-border fixtures, with Milan, Juventus, Crystal Palace, Bournemouth and Sunderland learning eight opponents and Conference League clubs receiving six.
Both draws were held in Monaco on August 28. The Europa League retained the 36-team, eight-match league phase, while Conference League sides play six opponents before the knockout rounds.
Milan and Juventus schedules
Milan will host Benfica, Ferencvaros, Sunderland and Ararat-Armenia. Their away matches are against Olympiacos, Salzburg, Bournemouth and Levski Sofia. Juventus will welcome Real Sociedad, Rennes, Omonia and NEC, with trips to AZ Alkmaar, Ferencvaros, Celta Vigo and Hapoel Beer-Sheva.
Other major Europa League pairings include Benfica at home to Celtic, AZ Alkmaar and Lech Poznan, and away to Milan, Viktoria Plzen, Omonia and NEC. Marseille will host Olympiacos, Anderlecht, Celta and Levski before travelling to Leverkusen, Celtic, Sturm Graz and Besiktas.

The Europa League matchdays are September 16-17, October 15, October 22, November 5, November 26, December 10, January 21 and January 28. The final is scheduled for May 26, 2027 in Frankfurt.
Conference League headline fixtures
Brighton will host Monaco, Universitatea Craiova and Kauno Zalgiris, while travelling to Panathinaikos, Getafe and Jablonec. Ajax will welcome Atalanta, Getafe and Thun, with away games at Midtjylland, Sint-Truidense and Hajduk Split.
Atalanta’s home opponents are Pafos, Kairat Almaty and Mjallby, and their away programme contains Ajax, Borac and Riga. Monaco will host Freiburg, Lincoln Red Imps and Nordsjaelland before visiting Brighton, Hearts and CSKA Sofia.
The Conference League matchdays are October 15, October 22, November 5, November 26, December 10 and December 17. The competition concludes at Besiktas Park in Istanbul on June 2, 2027.
Fixtures still need dates and kick-off times
The draw determines opponents and home or away status, not the final calendar for each club. UEFA is due to arrange precise dates and kick-off times separately, accounting for venue, broadcasting and city constraints. Supporters should wait for that calendar before committing to non-refundable travel.
In both competitions, every result contributes to one league table rather than a four-team group. The highest finishers advance most directly, while teams in the middle positions face knockout play-offs. That structure makes goal difference and results against less familiar opponents important across the full league phase.
